Four notable members of Broadcast Legends highlighted the Bay Area
Radio Hall of Fame's latest group of inductees, which was celebrated in front of
a capacity audience during
the Legends' holiday luncheon on Wednesday, December 12, 2007, at the Doubletree Inn
on the Berkeley Marina.
The Class of 2007's inductees into the Hall of Fame included:

Bud Foster (KLX, Oakland Oaks,

Broadcast Legends represented in the Class of 2007 included
Aaron
Edwards, Franklin Mieuli, Don Mozley,
Mike Cleary and
Ronn Owens. Don Barksdale, Frank Cope,
Jerry Dean, Bud Foster, Ron Lyons and Ernie Smith were inducted posthumously.

The Class of 2007 features three longtime favorites who are
still on the air: Don Bleu (Star 101.3), Ronn Owens (KGO Newstalk 810) and Mike
Cleary (Magic 630 KIDD, Monterey). In addition, Belva Davis who began her
broadcast journalism career at the original KSAN (1450 AM) in 1956 and is
currently with KQED-TV is the longest-serving media personality currently
active in the Bay Area, with more than fifty years of continuous service.
This year's group of sixteen honorees join the 36 radio
personalities, executives and pioneers that made up the first Hall of Fame class
in 2006. Among those inducted as part of the original cluster of stars were
Don
Sherwood, Al Hart, Ken Ackerman,
Bill Moen,
Al "Jazzbeaux" Collins, Frank Dill,
James Gabbert and Jim Lange.
