Matt
Elmore
Matt started in the mid-1970s at KCSM in
San Mateo, freelancing in announcing and as a cameraman
for television remotes.
He left his native Bay Area to become the
Music Director at KCBX-FM in San Luis Obispo, Calif. He was
the host of "A Morning Cup of Jazz" and became the
Program Manager before the end of his tenure.
While on the central coast he also worked
as a fill-in disc-jockey at KKAL-AM in Arroyo Grande.
He returned to the Bay Area in 1987 to
work weekends at KQED-FM. He is now hosting morning
drive for KQED & KQEI radio, and is the staff announcer
for KQED television.
